05-04-02 Cesky Krumlov & Hluboka

This time we went to the castle of Hluboka and the magnificent town of Cesky Krumlov. This was a trip organized by ISC, the wonderful people that have organized most of our trip during the whole year. Thank you very much. So first we made a stop to the nice castle of Hluboka. This is one of the only castles that actually look like a castle. You know like we usually imagine it. Big and strong!!!! Unfortunately we couldn’t take any picture inside but as I remember it was beautiful and full of wood. Then we proceed to the town of Cesky Krumlov, which I most say after Prague this is probably the second most beautiful town in Czech Republic. If fact I found it really similar to Prague but really more small. We were staying a little bit out of town in something that looks like a trucker rest place only it was small houses. Just look at the really women picture we had in our house and…. Or at the nice beds. Anyway we can’t complain it was nice beside that it was cold. If it would have been too much comfortable it would be call travel. So we arrive in the afternoon, we ate and then we went for an evening visit of the town. Basically, looking for a pub... We found one, had fun, dance and went back on foot to the hostel with a beautiful night sky over our head with lots of stars!!! The next day we had a visit with a guide which said a lot of stuff, Interesting… but you know guide stuff. Twelve thousand date, say all the type of architectures, I would like to remember all but it is impossible. One last thing there is a special thing there, which is a circular outside theater. That is characteristic of the communist era. The public would sit on benches the can rotate when the action is somewhere else.

I also visited several towns in Czech republic and realized that Prague is the most beautiful. Prague means for me a city for just hanging out in old streets, especially in the evenings, when the street lamps light romantic through narrow streets. I have been to many cities and capitals, but Prague is special somehow - it has the typical atmosphere -block of flats everywhere, typical trams, different architecture styles and people usually mind their own
